Just as in earthly life lovers long for the moment when they are able to breathe forth their love for each other, to let their souls blend in a soft whisper, so the mystic longs for the moment when in prayer he can, as it were, creep into God.”
— Søren Kierkegaard
i have neglected writing on here lately.
i think that other writers might understand when i say that sometimes, you just crave the feeling of a pen in your hand.
and possibly, many of you other desk jobbers understand that at the end/beginning of the day, the last place you want to be is at a computer screen.
thus my paper journal has been more of a companion of late.
i also need to start using my “live journal” again.
by this i mean writing long, wordy, state-of-my-soul emails to a dear friend.
then she replies like wise.
and though we live on opposite coasts, in opposite time zones, with different commutes, we are able to have our much needed heart to hearts on the pain and joys of love and live.
i will try to use this space more,
for i feel the need to create.
